Dealing with 7 Deadly Spiritual Traps

We have long heard of the 7 Deadly Sins.
What are they?
How do they affect our lives, the lives of those around us, and our world?
Why are they called deadly?
What does Unity say about them?
How do other religions of the world deal with them?
How can we transform them into life affirming attitudes and behaviors that empower our lives and the lives of others?

Join us for a fresh look at sin and how to find God and Good in it.

2011: A Year of Heart-Centered Holy Days

Every day  can be experienced as holy when we are centered in our Heart. There are many religious and secular  holidays throughout the year. As an educated person and a good neighbor, I want to better understand these holidays and know how to respond to them properly. To help us learn more about the world we live in, I will be sharing stories about many holidays throughout my Sunday Lessons this year. Since the Truth that Unity knows is universal, it is exciting to find the many ways Truth is expressed through these special days.

A Martin Luther King, Jr. Quote from his book, Where Do We Go From Here? Chaos or Community?

“We have inherited a large house, a great “world house” in which we have to live together—black and white, Easterner and Westerner, Gentile and Jew, Catholic and Protestant, Moslem and Hindu—a family unduly separated in ideas, culture and interest, who, because we can never again live apart, must learn somehow to live with each other in peace.”
